...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL HENDERSON COUNTY
IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area, therefore the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina and parts of the mountains of North Carolina.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN GREENVILLE COUNTY...

At 455 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
Greenville Downtown, or three miles east of Slater-Marietta, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...PEOPLE AND ANIMALS OUTDOORS WILL BE INJURED. EXPECT DAMAGE
         TO ROOFS...SIDING...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES.

Locations impacted include...
Greer, Taylors, Tigerville, Lake Robinson, Pleasant Ridge State
Park, Paris Mountain State Park, Slater-Marietta and Travelers Rest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail can cause major property damage, especially to vehicles.
Strong winds may blow down a few trees and power lines. Seek shelter
inside an interior room.
