...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT
FOR ELBERT COUNTY...

At 950 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles north of Elberton to 18 miles east of
Danielsville to 9 miles northeast of Lexington, moving southeast at
50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...EXPECT DAMAGE TO SIDING AND TREES.

Locations impacted include...
Elberton, Bobby Brown State Park, Russell State Park, Nancy Hart
State Park, Middleton, Lake Russell, Dewy Rose, Fortsonia, Rice Town
and Ruckersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
