.A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS AROUND
MIDDAY. RAPID COOLING BEHIND THE FRONT AND PERSISTENT MOISTURE
WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF FREEZING RAIN. BY LATE EVENING
THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW.
