BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS ACROSS MUCH OF THE WESTERN NORTH
CAROLINA MOUNTAINS. ENOUGH MOISTURE IS PRESENT FOR THE WINDS TO
PRODUCE SNOW SHOWERS ON THE WINDWARD SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAINS AND

  BLACK ICE. GUSTY WINDS WITH VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
  AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS LEADING TO POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS WIND CHILL
  VALUES.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF LESS THAN AN INCH.
