URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...FREEZING RAIN TODAY...

.COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SOUTH INTO THE AREA AND PERSIST
THROUGH TODAY. SOUTHERLY FLOW OVER THE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING
IN MOISTURE AND LEAD TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF FREEZING RAIN FROM
SOUTH TO NORTH ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL
CHANGE TO RAIN FROM SOUTH TO NORTH ACROSS THE AREA LATER TODAY AS
WARMER TEMPERATURES SLOWLY MOVES BACK IN.

  GEORGIA...AND MOST OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

* HAZARDS...FREEZING RAIN.

* TIMING...RAIN WILL CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN AS TEMPERATURES
  FALL BELOW FREEZING. TEMPERATURES WILL BE MOST CONDUCIVE TO
  FREEZING RAIN EARLY THIS MORNING...BUT WILL CONTINUE UNTIL
  TEMPERATURES WARM ABOVE FREEZING. ALL PRECIPITATION SHOULD
  CHANGE TO RAIN BY NOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO AN EIGHTH OF AN INCH OF ICE GLAZE.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO SLICK ROADWAYS.
  ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES DUE TO DOWNED TREES OR POWER LINES.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH.
