...HIGH ELEVATION SNOW EXPECTED TONIGHT AND MONDAY...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PASS NORTH OF THE AREA TONIGHT
BRINGING A COLD FRONT ACROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS. THE
LOW MOVES TO THE COAST DURING THE DAY MONDAY...KEEPING A COLD AND
MOIST NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. THIS WILL RESULT
IN ACCUMULATING SNOW...MAINLY ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE
MOUNTAINS WEST OF THE FRENCH BROAD VALLEY.

* LOCATIONS...THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE COUNTIES ALONG THE
  TENNESSEE BORDER FROM GRAHAM TO HAYWOOD...INCLUDING NORTHERN
  JACKSON COUNTY.

* HAZARDS...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.

* TIMING...RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH
  THE MORNING ON MONDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF GENERALLY 1 TO 2
  INCHES...WITH UP TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS
  OF THE SMOKIES.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS COULD MAKE ROADS SLIPPERY AND
  TRAVEL HAZARDOUS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S.

* WINDS...WEST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
