THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS...

.COLD AND MOIST NORTHWESTERLY FLOW IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT
WILL RESULT IN ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS THE HIGH TERRAIN OF
WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
CONCENTRATED IN THE COUNTIES ALONG THE TENNESSEE BORDER.

  WITH 2 TO 3 INCHES COMMON AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE
  SMOKIES.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS COULD MAKE ROADS SLIPPERY AND
  TRAVEL HAZARDOUS. BLOWING SNOW MAY OCCASIONALLY LIMIT
  VISIBILITY.
