...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY FROM 6 PM TONIGHT THROUGH 9 AM TUESDAY...

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AS A COLD AIR MASS CONTINUES TO FILTER INTO THE REGION...
TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING AROUND SUNSET. ANY
OVERNIGHT LIGHT PRECIPITATION THAT FALLS WILL LIKELY FORM INTO
FREEZING RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE. THE MAIN AREA OF CONCERN IS
STILL NORTH OF A BRENHAM TO CONROE TO CLEVELAND LINE. PRIMARY
THREAT EXISTS FOR MADISONVILLE AND CROCKETT SINCE THESE AREAS WILL
BE BELOW FREEZING THE LONGEST WITH PRECIPITATION FALLING. ICE
ACCUMULATION UP TO 5 HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH WILL BE TYPICAL BUT A
FEW ISOLATED AREAS COULD GET AS MUCH AS A TENTH OF AN INCH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

ANY FROZEN PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE ENDING EARLY TUESDAY MORNING
AND END THE ADVISORY. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE OVER THE AREA WEDNESDAY. MOST LIKELY RAIN IS EXPECTED BUT WE
WILL BE MONITORING FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF A RAIN AND SLEET MIX.

EVENING. FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN JUST NORTH
OF HOUSTON CLOSER TO CONROE TONIGHT. ANY PRECIPITATION THAT FALLS
IS EXPECTED TO FALL AS RAIN. FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE
ARE EXPECTED MAINLY NORTH OF A BRENHAM TO CLEVELAND LINE.
