THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING VERY WARM TEMPERATURES TO REGION TODAY.
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO NEAR 100 DEGREES OVER THE WESTERN
THIRD OF THE REGION. SOME DRIER AIR ALOFT WILL MIX TO THE SURFACE
AND HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REMAIN CLOSE TO THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. HIGH
TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND WILL PEAK NEAR 100 DEGREES WELL
INLAND WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES REMAINING NEAR THE ACTUAL AIR
TEMPERATURE.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 PM SATURDAY EVENING...

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING VERY WARM TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION
TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM INTO THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 90S
THIS AFTERNOON. THESE WARM TEMPERATURES COUPLED WITH HIGH HUMIDITY
LEVELS WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 103 AND 109 DEGREES
TODAY. A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT TODAY AND HAS BEEN
EXTENDED THROUGH SATURDAY. THE HEAT ADVISORY WILL CONTINUE UNTIL
HEAT INDEX VALUES FALL BELOW 105 DEGREES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM INTO THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 90S ON
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. THESE WARM TEMPERATURES COUPLED WITH HIGH
HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 103 AND
108 DEGREES. A HEAT ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON. THE HEAT ADVISORY WILL CONTINUE UNTIL HEAT INDEX VALUES
FALL BELOW 105 DEGREES.
