THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL SPREAD OVER MUCH OF TEXAS AS AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE EAST. THIS WILL SUPPORT
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. SOME STRONGER STORMS
MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2
INCHES AN HOUR. LOCALIZED FLOODING MAY BE POSSIBLE WITH SEVERAL
STRONG STORMS MOVING OVER THE SAME AREA OR IN URBAN AREAS WHERE
THERE IS POOR DRAINAGE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK AND
INTO LABOR DAY WEEKEND. AGAIN THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD CAUSE STREET FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS.
