THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

AN ARCTIC AIRMASS OVER SOUTHEAST TEXAS WILL HELP CONTRIBUTE TO
THE POSSIBILITY OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF A
BRENHAM TO CONROE TO CLEVELAND LINE.

THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE FOR AREAS NEAR COLLEGE STATION TO
HUNTSVILLE AND NORTHWARD TO CROCKETT. FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE
WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY MONDAY EVENING FROM 6 PM TO 9 AM TUESDAY
MORNING. ICE ACCUMULATIONS MAY BE UNDER A TENTH OF AN INCH FOR
AREAS NEAR HUNTSVILLE TO CROCKETT. ICE ACCUMULATIONS NEAR 5
HUNDREDTHS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR THE COLLEGE STATION AREAS DOWN TO
BRENHAM TO CONROE.

THE MAIN IMPACTS WILL BE ICING OF ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS
BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. ICE ON ROADS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE IF
TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW 30 DEGREES FOR SEVERAL HOURS MONDAY NIGHT.
THIS AREA WILL BE MONITORED FOR A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

FALL TO FREEZING MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS AREAS
ALONG AND NORTH OF A BRENHAM TO CLEVELAND LINE...A BRIEF WINDOW
MAY EXIST FOR LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE. THE
FREEZING LINE MAY REACH NORTHERN HARRIS COUNTY BY TUESDAY MORNING
BUT LIKELY SET UP JUST NORTH CLOSER TO CONROE. ANY RAIN OR DRIZZLE
SHOULD REMAIN AS LIQUID ACROSS THE HOUSTON METRO AREA. ANY FROZEN
PRECIPITATION WILL BE EXPECTED NORTH OF THE AREA.
