.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH SOUTHEAST TEXAS TODAY AND
TONIGHT. STRONG DYNAMICS AND FAVORABLE UPPER LEVEL WINDS SUPPORT
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING IN THE MID AND LATE
MORNING HOURS THEN SPREADING OVER THE REST OF THE AREA DURING THE
REMAINDER OF THE DAY AND INTO THE LATE NIGHT. A FEW STORMS COULD
BECOME SEVERE. THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER HAZARD WILL BE GUSTY
WINDS AND POTENTIALLY ONE OR TWO TORNADOES. HAIL AND MINOR STREET
FLOODING WILL BE SECONDARY THREATS.
