FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
211 PM CDT TUE JUL 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MAINTAIN ITS HOLD ON THE WEATHER PATTERN
ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA. TEMPERATURES WILL SOAR INTO THE MID
TO UPPER 90S THIS AFTERNOON AND AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
IN ADDITION...MOISTURE WILL REMAIN ELEVATED AND WILL COMBINE
WITH THE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPS TO CREATE HEAT INDICES ABOVE THE
TRIPLE DIGIT MARK. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO
BE POSSIBLE EACH DAY...AND MAY PROVIDE A BRIEF RELIEF TO THE
HOT TEMPERATURES TO THE AFFECTED AREAS. A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH
THE AREA ON THURSDAY...WITH RAIN CHANCES INCREASING DURING THE DAY.
BEHIND THE FRONT...DRIER AIR AND SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL
RETURN THE AREA.
