FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA

.DISCUSSION...
A PASSING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING A FEW SPRINKLES TO
THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON, BEFORE SKIES CLEAR OUT AGAIN THIS EVENING.
DRY AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK
IN THE WAKE OF A COUPLE OF DRY COLD FRONTS EXPECTED. NO ADDITIONAL
PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR THIS WEEK, BUT ADDITIONAL ROUNDS OF COOLER
AND DRIER AIR WILL ACCOMPANY EACH FRONT THROUGH FRIDAY.

WINDS WILL SHIFT AROUND TO THE NORTHWEST FOR TUESDAY BEFORE SHIFTING
TO THE NORTHEAST BY WEDNESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS TO SHIFT EAST
OF THE REGION. GOOD TO GENERALLY GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION IS EXPECTED
EACH DAY THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH MIXING HEIGHTS AROUND 3000 FEET
EXPECTED. AFTERNOON RH VALUES WILL DIP INTO THE THE MIDDLE TO UPPER
30S EACH DAY, BUT NO RED FLAG WARNING CRITERIA WILL BE MET THROUGH
