Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
259 PM CST Sat Dec 9 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A generally dry cold front will move across Northern Alabama
late this afternoon and early evening, bringing another shot
of cold air to the region. A few flurries are possible in late
afternoon and early evening across parts of far northeast
Alabama as the front passes. Low temperatures will cool into
the lower 20s most spots, with a few upper teens in the coldest
spots.

Dry conditions and cool conditions will continue on Sunday, as a
surface high situated over the Rockies controls the general weather
situation. A warming trend is forecast on Monday with high
temperatures rising back into the 50s, before another dry cold
front brings colder conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fair to Generally Good smoke dispersion rates are forecast across
the area on Sunday. Fair dispersion rates are forecast on Monday.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
