Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
215 AM CST Sun Feb 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Any fog that developed overnight should dissipate an hour or two
after sunrise this morning. Clouds will clear by the afternoon
leaving warmer high temperatures than we have been seeing. Drier
air will move in as well dropping the minimum Rh values in the
44-48 percent range. Winds will be light and variable but with
afternoon heating, mixing ratios will quickly reach above 4000ft.
Should be mostly clear skies and light and variable winds again
overnight. With lingering moisture, there could be a few spots of
patchy fog but it was not widespread enough to include in the
general forecast.

Dry conditions continue on Monday with high clouds overspreading
the area with light and variable winds continuing. Minimum RH
values won`t change much and be in the mid 40 percent range. The
next chance of rain will come on Tuesday and it is uncertain at
this time if this will be a widespread wetting rain or not.

Given the moist conditions, light winds, and high RH values, Red
Flag conditions are not expected.
