FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
211 PM CDT WED MAY 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE ENTIRE
TENNESSEE VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF
AFTER SUNSET BUT LOW MIXING HEIGHTS AND LOW CEILINGS EXPECTED
OVERNIGHT SHOULD KEEP DISPERSION VALUES GENERALLY POOR. AFTERNOON
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK
AND INTO THE WEEKEND AS WE STAY IN AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN.
GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY STORMS
THAT DEVELOP THIS WEEK. ALTHOUGH MIXING HEIGHTS WILL BE HIGHER EACH
AFTERNOON...LIGHT TRANSPORT WINDS WILL LIMIT DISPERSION AND POOR TO
FAIR VALUES ARE FORECAST.
