Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama

.DISCUSSION...

Moisture has briefly returned to the TN Valley with winds out of the
S/SW. However, a dry cold front will move through the area this evening
switching winds to the NW. Drier and cooler air filters in on Wednesday
with min RH values falling into the 30 percent range. Transport winds
remain elevated on Wednesday leading to fair dispersion. High pressure
begins to build over the area Thursday and continues through Saturday.
Another dry front is forecast to move across the area Saturday into
Sunday.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
