FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
229 PM CST SAT DEC 20 2014

.DISCUSSION...
CLEAR SKIES...DRY CONDITIONS AND LIGHT WINDS WILL PERSIST THROUGH
SUNDAY. A STRONG NIGHT TIME INVERSION DEVELOPS THIS EVENING WHICH
MAY LEAD TO SOME PATCHY FOG DEVELOPING ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA AND
SOUTHERN TENNESSEE. MOISTURE INCREASES SUNDAY AFTERNOON AS THE NEXT
SYSTEM APPROACHES THE AREA WITH SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN POSSIBLE BY
SUNDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY. ON TUESDAY RAIN CHANCES
INCREASE AS A COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT.
