FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
229 PM CST THU FEB 11 2016

.DISCUSSION...
WARMER AIR AND SLIGHTLY MORE MOIST AIR WILL SPREAD NORTHWARD
ON FRIDAY PRODUCING MAINLY MID TO HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS. MINIMUM
RH VALUES WILL NOT BE AS LOW AS THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS, STAYING
ABOVE 40 PERCENT. A COLD FRONT WILL ARRIVE FRIDAY EVENING
PRODUCING INCREASING NORTHWEST TRANSPORT FLOW. VERY COLD
TEMPERATURES WILL FOLLOW THROUGH THIS WEEKEND. A LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP BY SUNDAY OVER THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
WHICH WILL BRING A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION SUNDAY NIGHT
INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING. INCOMING WARMER AIR WILL LIKELY
CHANGE ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION TO ALL RAIN MONDAY AFTERNOON.
A WARMING TREND IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR THE REMAINDER OF NEXT
WEEK.
