...AREAS OF DENSE FOG AFFECTING LOCATIONS AROUND GUNTERSVILLE
LAKE...THE TENNESSEE RIVER AND LEWIS SMITH LAKE...

SATELLITE AND LOCAL SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THAT AREAS OF DENSE
FOG HAVE FORMED ALONG GUNTERSVILLE LAKE...THE TENNESSEE RIVER...LEWIS
SMITH LAKE AND OTHER LOCATIONS IN AND NEAR WATER. VISIBILITIES IN
MANY SPOTS HAVE LOWERED TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS. THE FOG IS EXPECTED
TO REMAIN CONCENTRATED IN THESE AREAS HEADING INTO THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS...BEFORE THE FOG BEGINS TO LIFT A FEW HOURS AFTER DAYBREAK.

IF TRAVELING EARLY THIS MORNING NEAR ANY OF THESE LOCATIONS WHERE
DENSE FOG HAS FORMED...MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO REMAIN ALERT FOR
RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITIES AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR DRIVING.
REDUCE SPEED AS APPROPRIATE...AND USE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS IF YOU
ENCOUNTER DENSE FOG.
