...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS EXPECTED TO LINGER INTO THE EARLY
EVENING...

GENERALLY LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT NORTHWESTERN
AND NORTH CENTRAL ALABAMA INTO THE EARLY EVENING. SOME SNOW SHOWERS
MAY CONTAIN BRIEF BURSTS OF MODERATE OR PERHAPS HEAVY SNOW.
ACCUMULATIONS FROM ANY ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL WILL LIKELY BE ONE HALF
INCH OR LESS THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING. HOWEVER...MINOR ACCUMULATIONS
MAY OCCUR ON ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES...LATER
THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EARLY EVENING.

TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY REMAIN NEAR TO BELOW FREEZING ESPECIALLY
FOR PORTIONS OF LIMESTONE AND MADISON COUNTIES...WHILE SOME BREAKS IN
THE CLOUDS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO RISE ABOVE FREEZING ESPECIALLY
FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA THIS AFTERNOON.

MOTORISTS MAY STILL ENCOUNTER SLOWER TRAVEL DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING COMMUTE...ESPECIALLY IF DRIVING THROUGH LOCATIONS THAT
HAVE EXPERIENCED HEAVIER SNOWFALL TODAY...MAINLY IN NORTHEASTERN
MORGAN COUNTY AND PORTIONS OF MADISON AND LIMESTONE COUNTIES.
