...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LAUDERDALE...
COLBERT...NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN AND CENTRAL LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH
715 AM CDT...

At 634 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Littleville, or 7 miles southwest of Tuscumbia,
moving east-southeastward at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30-40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Moulton, Town
Creek, Cherokee, Littleville, Leighton, and Courtland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for northwestern
Alabama.
