FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE MIDSOUTH
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN
315 PM CDT TUE JUL 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...

MAINLY ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
THROUGH SUNSET TONIGHT. PATCHY FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF THE
AREA OVERNIGHT. WINDS WILL REMAIN LIGHT AND VARIABLE THROUGH TOMORROW
MORNING.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY A COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER
LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION
RESULTING IN ELEVATED RAIN CHANCES. HIGHS THURSDAY WILL BE IN THE
MID 80S BEFORE INCREASING TO NEAR 90 FRIDAY AND THE REST OF THE
WEEKEND. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE WEEKEND AS
DISTURBANCES EMBEDDED WITHIN NORTHWEST FLOW MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.
TEMPERATURES WILL ONCE AGAIN FALL BELOW NORMAL RANGES EARLY NEXT
WEEK AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH DIGS DEEP INTO THE EASTERN UNITED
STATES.
