...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN FRANKLIN AND SOUTHERN
LAWRENCE COUNTIES UNTIL 1115 PM CDT...

At 1050 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Red Bay to near Moulton.
Movement was east at 45 mph.

Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Moulton, Phil Campbell, Vina, Hodges, Atwood, Speake, Duketon, Wren,
Bankhead National Forest and Spruce Pine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike several away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
