...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT BROOME...SOUTHERN CORTLAND...
NORTHEASTERN CHEMUNG...TIOGA...SOUTHEASTERN TOMPKINS AND SOUTHERN
CHENANGO COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 115 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Harford to Van Etten. Movement was east at
60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Binghamton, Vestal, Johnson City, Endicott, Maine, Owego, Caroline,
Nanticoke, Coventry, and Port Dickinson.

This includes the following highway exits...
 New York Interstate 81 between 2 and 8.
 Interstate 86/Route 17 between 64 and 75.
 Interstate 88 between 1 and 5.
