.DISCUSSION...

Good morning!

No fog is expected this morning but some isolated patchy frost may
be possible. With high pressure still settled across the
Southeast another day of clear and dry conditions can be expected
at the burn location. Temperatures will start off cool this
morning with readings right around 40 but will steadily warm into
the 50s around the time of ignition (10AM) and into the 70s this
afternoon (after 2PM). Minimum RH values will drop into the upper
20s (27%-30%) this afternoon. Surface and 20ft winds will start of
from the S but will become more SW around mid-day 11AM-12PM at 6
to 10 MPH. Though given the location of the burn site and
considering terrain, winds could get funneled down allowing for
some higher sustained winds than originally forecast.
Additionally, minimum RH values did dip below 25 % briefly
yesterday afternoon and would not be surprised if this happened
again today. At this time no Fire Danger Statement has been issued
but we will continue to closely monitor as things continue to dry
out.
