...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN JEWELL...SOUTHEASTERN
NUCKOLLS...FILLMORE AND THAYER COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 601 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Fairmont to near Carleton to near Hardy to near
Montrose. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Geneva, Exeter, Fairmont, Bruning, Hardy, Ruskin, Formoso,
  Carleton, Strang, and Webber around 605 PM CDT.
  Deshler around 610 PM CDT.
  Ohiowa around 615 PM CDT.
  Milligan, Byron, and Belvidere around 620 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Hebron and
Chester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central
Kansas...and south central and east central Nebraska.
