...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...

Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Two Rivers...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Two
Rivers...

At 234 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located over Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Light, moving
east at 30 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Whitefish Point, Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Light, and Sturgeon Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
