...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT COLORADO...NORTH CENTRAL
WHARTON...AUSTIN...SOUTHWESTERN GRIMES...WASHINGTON AND WESTERN
WALLER COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM CDT...

At 432 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Washington to near
Hallettsville. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brenham, Sealy, Hempstead, Bellville, Columbus, Eagle Lake, Shelby,
Weimar, Pine Island, San Felipe, Industry, Burton, Carmine, New Ulm,
Quarry, Cat Spring, Sheridan, Altair, Frelsburg, and Garwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
