Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Low pressure developing several hundred nautical miles northwest
of the state will bring the threat of thunderstorms over the next
several days with strong thunderstorms possible tonight through
Friday. This low will lift northeastward late Saturday through
early next week. Surface ridge will build eastward in its wake
Monday through Tuesday.

AROUND KAUAI AND KAUAI CHANNEL...
...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...

.REST OF TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 knots around Kauai.
Elsewhere, southeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 6 to 10
feet. Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Numerous showers and scattered
to strong thunderstorms Kauai waters. Isolated showers elsewhere.
.FRIDAY...East to southeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 5 to
8 feet. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
.FRIDAY NIGHT through SATURDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 15 knots
increasing to 10 to 20 knots Saturday night Kauai and Oahu
waters. Elsewhere, east to southeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind
waves 5 to 7 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet Saturday night.
Northwest swell 2 to 3 feet. Numerous showers with isolated
thunderstorms Kauai waters. Scattered showers elsewhere.
.SUNDAY...South to southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 4
to 5 feet. Northwest swell 5 feet. Occasional showers.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots around Kauai and Oahu.
South winds 10 to 15 knots elsewhere. Wind waves 3 to 4 feet.
Northwest swell 7 feet. Scattered showers.
.MONDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots. Variable winds 5 to 15 knots
around Big Island. Wind waves 3 to 4 feet. Northwest swell 10
feet. Scattered showers.
.TUESDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3 feet.
Northwest swell 8 to 9 feet. Isolated showers.
