NOVEMBER 2015 WILL GO DOWN AS THE 12TH WARMEST NOVEMBER SINCE
RECORDS BEGAN IN 1888...TALLYING A MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF
50.0 DEGREES...4.6 DEGREES WARMER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE WARMEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 2009. SUBTRACTING THE LATE MONTH COLD SNAP...THE
AIR CAPITAL TALLIED ITS 4TH WARMEST NOVEMBER THROUGH THE FIRST 26
DAYS. THE CITY EXPERIENCED 22 DAYS WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES 60
DEGREES OR WARMER...WHICH IS THE MOST OF ANY NOVEMBER ON
RECORD...AND ONLY 6 DAYS WERE COOLER THAN NORMAL (MOST OF THOSE
OCCURRING LATE IN THE MONTH). IN THE PRECIPITATION DEPARTMENT...IT
WAS THE 7TH WETTEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD...TALLYING 4.17 INCHES
WHICH WAS 2.74 INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE WETTEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 1992. DAILY RECORDS SET INCLUDE A RECORD WARM LOW
TEMPERATURE OF 60 DEGREES SET ON THE 4TH...AND A PRECIPITATION
RECORD OF 2.17 INCHES ON THE 26TH. THIS WAS THE 7TH HIGHEST DAILY
PRECIPITATION TOTAL OF ANY NOVEMBER SINCE 1888.

NOVEMBER 2015 WILL GO DOWN AS THE 5TH WARMEST NOVEMBER SINCE
1894...TALLYING A MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 49.1
DEGREES...5.2 DEGREES WARMER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE WARMEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 2001. THE CITY EXPERIENCED 21 DAYS WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES 60 DEGREES OR WARMER...WHICH IS THE 2ND MOST SINCE
1948...AND ONLY 7 DAYS WERE COOLER THAN NORMAL (MOST OF THOSE
OCCURRING LATE IN THE MONTH). IN THE PRECIPITATION DEPARTMENT...IT
WAS THE 13TH WETTEST NOVEMBER SINCE 1948...TALLYING 2.18 INCHES
WHICH WAS 0.93 INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE WETTEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 2011. DAILY RECORDS SET INCLUDE RECORD WARM LOW
TEMPERATURES OF 60 AND 53 DEGREES SET ON THE 4TH AND
25TH...RESPECTIVELY...AND PRECIPITATION RECORDS OF 0.94 AND 0.91
INCHES ON THE 10TH AND 11TH...RESPECTIVELY.

DEGREES...3.0 DEGREES WARMER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE WARMEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 2009. THE CITY EXPERIENCED 21 DAYS WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES 60 DEGREES OR WARMER...WHICH IS TIED FOR 3RD MOST ON
RECORD...AND 9 DAYS WERE COOLER THAN NORMAL. IN THE PRECIPITATION
DEPARTMENT...IT WAS THE 12TH WETTEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD...TALLYING
5.49 INCHES WHICH WAS 2.99 INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL. IT WAS THE
WETTEST NOVEMBER SINCE 2011. DAILY RECORDS SET INCLUDE A RECORD
WARM LOW TEMPERATURE OF 54 DEGREES...ON THE 25TH...AND A
PRECIPITATION RECORD OF 2.28 INCHES ON THE 26TH. THIS WAS THE 7TH
HIGHEST DAILY PRECIPITATION TOTAL OF ANY NOVEMBER SINCE 1894.
