...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN BUTLER COUNTY...

AT 1113 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS
WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES
OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN...HEAVIEST OVER FAR SOUTHWEST BUTLER
COUNTY...JUST SOUTH OF ROSE HILL AND WEST OF DOUGLASS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ANDOVER...AUGUSTA...ROSE HILL...DOUGLASS...TOWANDA...BENTON...
SANTA FE LAKE AND AUGUSTA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE
WARNED AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS STREETS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES
IN URBAN AREAS. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO
FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

TO REPORT FLOODING...HAVE THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY RELAY
YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE.
