...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR SOUTHERN
MCPHERSON COUNTY...

At 832 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that showers and a few
thunderstorms remained across the area. Local law enforcement
reported that shortly before 8 pm, high water about 10 inches deep
was observed near 14th Avenue and Comanche, or about 5 miles south
of McPherson.

Runoff from the previous heavy rainfall this evening will continue
to cause minor lowland flooding of creeks, streams and some
roadways.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Moundridge, Inman, Galva, and Canton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
