...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR
NORTHEASTERN RENO COUNTY...

AT 2 PM CDT...COW CREEK ABOVE HUTCHINSON WAS AT 9.9 FEET AND STEADY.
THIS WAS JUST ABOVE THE FLOOD STAGE OF 9.5 FEET. THE CREEK WAS
NEAR CREST AND IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE...THOUGH
BEGIN A GRADUAL FALL BY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

THE HIGH WATER LEVELS HAVE IMPACTED SOME AREA ROADS...INCLUDING
SALLEE BETWEEN 82ND AVENUE AND 95TH AVENUE AND ON 95TH AVENUE
BETWEEN DEAN AND SALLEE. EXPECT SOME ROAD CLOSURES TO CONTINUE
THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE... AREAS EAST
OF NICKERSON INCLUDING CROPLAND FLOODING ALONG THE CREEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
