THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...
SOUTH CENTRAL...AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

VERY HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER WILL OCCUR THIS AFTERNOON WEST OF
HIGHWAY 14.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

VERY HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER WILL OCCUR ALONG AND WEST OF THE
KANSAS TURNPIKE SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER A SMALL PART OF CENTRAL KANSAS LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT WITH THUNDERSTORMS SPREADING SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE
REST OF THE REGION SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
CAPABLE OF NICKEL-SIZED HAIL AND GUSTS AROUND 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE
ESPECIALLY OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON
AND SUNDAY NIGHT. THE BEST CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL SHIFT
EAST OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS ON MONDAY BUT SHOULD BE NEITHER STRONG
NOR SEVERE.

STRONG AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY PRODUCE HALF DOLLAR SIZED
HAIL AND GUSTS AROUND 60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE OVER ALL AREAS
WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AND OVER PRIMARILY SOUTHEAST
KANSAS ON THURSDAY.
