CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING...ALONG
AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70. THE THUNDERSTORMS WOULD BE CAPABLE OF
WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH.

HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WILL BUILD ACROSS THE REGION TODAY.
AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO 103 ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THE HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD ACROSS THE
REGION FOR MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES OF 100
TO 105 ARE EXPECTED EACH DAY.
