This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very High Grassland Fire Danger is expected this afternoon across a
large portion of Central and South Central Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A Very High Grassland Fire Danger is possible in Barton and Russell
Counties Saturday Afternoon. The Grassland Fire Danger will
increase considerably Sunday Afternoon! The Grassland Fire Danger
is likely to be Extreme across most of Central and South-Central
Kansas while a Very High Grassland Fire Danger exists across the
remainder of the County Warning Area. A Very High Grassland Fire
Danger is likely to exist in most areas Sunday Evening. The Red
Flags may be hoisted Sunday Afternoon. As such the Fire Weather
forecast should be monitored closely!

A Very High Grassland Fire Danger is possible in parts of Central
and South-Central Kansas Monday Afternoon and for nearly all areas
next Thursday Afternoon.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible in South-Central and Southeast
Kansas Wednesday Afternoon and evening. The thunderstorm potential
will gradually increase from late Wednesday Night and Thursday, a
few of which may be quite strong. Isolated embedded thunderstorms
are possible for all areas Thursday Night.
