SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES COULD BE NEAR 100 DEGREES FOR LOCATIONS
WEST OF INTERSTATE 135.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL CLIMB TO
BETWEEN 100 AND 107 DEGREES ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA.

MEANWHILE...ANOTHER SLOW MOVING FRONT WILL SINK SOUTHWARD INTO
KANSAS AND BRING MORE CHANCES OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION
FOR SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY NIGHT...AND THEN AGAIN FOR TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY.
