SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY AFTER 10 PM. A LOCALLY
STRONG STORM WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE...
GENERALLY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE SUNDAY...MAINLY ALONG AND
EAST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE. A STRONG STORM OR TWO WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

HEAT INDICES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...MAINLY IN THE
SALINA AND WICHITA AREA.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE
ENTIRE AREA. A FEW OF THE STRONGER STORMS MAY PRODUCE STRONG TO
MARGINALLY SEVERE WIND GUSTS...HOWEVER THE MAIN THREAT APPEARS TO
BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF
NEXT WEEK. WHILE THE RISK FOR ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW...A
FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE
ACROSS THE AREA ALONG WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
