THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD SOUTH ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA.
SOME OF THE SNOW WILL BE MIXED WITH RAIN OVER SOUTH CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS THIS EVENING. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED
TO BE VERY LIGHT...GENERALLY A TRACE TO ONE-HALF INCH. HOWEVER A
FEW LOCATIONS ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS AND THE FLINT HILLS COULD SEE
AROUND 1 INCH OF SNOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LIGHT SNOW COULD LINGER OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS WEDNESDAY MORNING.
HOWEVER NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

THE COMBINATION OF WARMER TEMPERATURES AND VERY STRONG SOUTH
WINDS WILL RESULT IN VERY HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER ACROSS THE
ENTIRE AREA ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY...MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS. LITTLE IF ANY IMPACT TO
TRAVEL IS EXPECTED.
