SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS THE AREA
WITH THE BETTER CHANCES EAST OF INTERSTATE 135. THE STRONGER STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF 50 MPH AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN IN THE FORECAST
SATURDAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. WHILE ORGANIZED SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED...A FEW STRONG STORMS WITH SMALL HAIL AND
GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

HEAT INDICES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...FOR THOSE COUNTIES CLOSE TO THE OKLAHOMA
BORDER.
