THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH
WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS GENERALLY WEST OF INTERSTATE 135 THIS
EVENING.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT FOR
LOCATIONS MAINLY WEST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE. THE STRONGEST
ACTIVITY WILL BE CAPABLE OF VERY SMALL HAIL AND 40 MPH
WINDS...ALONG WITH BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS...MAINLY ALONG
AND WEST OF THE FLINT HILLS. A HANDFUL OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
ARE POSSIBLE...CAPABLE OF LOCALIZED OCCURRENCES OF GOLF BALL SIZE
AND 60 TO 70 MPH WINDS. THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE AND INTENSITY
SHOULD DECREASE BY LATE EVENING.

CONFIDENCE CONTINUES TO INCREASE FOR A SIGNIFICANT EPISODE OF
SEVERE WEATHER TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH ALL MODES OF
SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE...INCLUDING VERY LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING
WINDS AND TORNADOES. EXACT DETAILS ON TIMING...MAGNITUDE AND
AREAS IMPACTED REMAIN UNCLEAR AT THIS TIME...BUT WILL BE REFINED
IN THE COMING DAYS.
