THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW WILL IMPACT AREAS SOUTHEAST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE DURING
THE MORNING HOURS WITH BETWEEN A TRACE AND A HALF INCH POSSIBLE OVER
EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ARCTIC AIR WILL SURGE SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA LATE MONDAY INTO
TUESDAY. SUBZERO WIND CHILLS ARE LIKELY MONDAY NIGHT ACROSS
CENTRAL KANSAS...AND OVER MOST OF THE AREA ON TUESDAY NIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY MORNING.

LIGHT SNOW OR SNOW FLURRIES WILL ACCOMPANY THE COLD FRONT MONDAY
AFTERNOON AND MAY LINGER INTO THE DAY ON TUESDAY. ACCUMULATIONS
AROUND 1 INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE AREA LATE IN THE WEEK
BRINGING INCREASING CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW.
