This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Strong and gusty south winds will support very high grassland fire
danger Friday across mainly central Kansas for grasses at least
80-90 percent cured.

Thunderstorm chances will increase Saturday afternoon and evening,
as a strong cold front approaches from the northwest. While
widespread severe weather is not expected, a handful of strong to
severe storms are possible over mainly the southeast quarter of
Kansas, capable of large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain.


Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
