This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Rain and thunderstorms will develop overnight area wide. A few
strong to marginally severe storms are possible over far Southeast
Kansas, along with pockets of heavy rainfall and flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Several rounds of thunderstorms will impact the region through
Sunday. Areas of heavy rain and flooding are probable during the
weekend. The greatest threat for high rainfall rates and associated
flash flooding will be over far Southeast Kansas.

The heavy rain will also result in rises on many rivers and
streams area wide. River flood warnings have already been posted
for parts of the Neosho river. Check the latest flood warnings and
statements for details.

Widespread severe storms are not expected through this time period.

Light snow may mix with rain late Saturday night through early
Sunday, and again Sunday night, mainly along and west of a line from
Great Bend to Lincoln. Little if any snow accumulations are
expected.

Thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
Severe weather appears unlikely at this time.
