Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
501 AM CDT FRI MAY 20 2016

There were areas of light rain and drizzle during the night but no
location measured more than a few hundredths inch. Moisture-laden
east to southeast winds under 10 mph teamed with a low overcast to
hold temperatures to the mid 50s.

The light rain and drizzle will vacate the Great Plains in a west
to east manner this morning as a mid-level perturbation extending
from Wyoming to the Mid-Mississippi Valley lifts slowly northeast
across the Ohio Velley. Winds will become more southerly around 10
mph but extensive low clouds will limit highs to 65 to 70 degrees.

The Great Plains are in for another damp night tonight as more
drizzle and fog develop with a few thunderstorms possible across
the Western Plains. East to southeast 10 to 15 mph winds should
limit lows to the 50s.
