SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTED PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
KANSAS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
70S WITH LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO LINGER OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS AND
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA THIS MORNING. MEANWHILE...SURFACE LOW PRESSURE
WILL DEEPEN OVER WESTERN KANSAS TODAY WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS
PREVAILING ACROSS KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
RE-DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER NORTHWEST
KANSAS...EASTWARD INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA. A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE AND COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.
DAYTIME HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE COOLER 70S IN NORTHERN
NEBRASKA...TO THE VERY HOT TRIPLE DIGITS OVER CENTRAL KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA.

THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SAG SLOWLY SOUTHWARD TOWARDS CENTRAL
KANSAS TONIGHT...WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
MUCH OF NEBRASKA AND WESTERN SECTIONS OF KANSAS...AND CENTRAL
KANSAS. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE COOLER 50S IN THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...TO THE WARM MID 70S FOR SOUTHERN KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA.
