...Gusty winds and a few storms will affect the Wichita metro
through 10 pm...

A few thunderstorms were developing along a southward moving outflow
boundary across the northern part of the Wichita metro area. Gusty
winds to 40 mph can be expected even where it does not rain, however
some locations across Harvey, eastern Reno, northern Sedgwick and
northwest Butler counties could experience locally heavy downpours
and some cloud to ground lightning. The rain cooled air will also
drop temperatures some 10 to 15 degrees in just a few minutes.
