...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ALLEN COUNTY THROUGH 315 AM
CDT...

At 227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Neosho Falls to 5 miles south of Buffalo.
Movement was northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Iola, Humboldt, La Harpe, Gas, Moran, Savonburg, Elsmore, Mildred,
Bassett, Petrolia, and Iola Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
