  COWLEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...

* AT 1159 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS WERE
  TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR DEXTER...OR 10 MILES SOUTHEAST
  OF WINFIELD...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 TO 50 MPH AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  WINFIELD...BURDEN...DEXTER...GRENOLA...ATLANTA...LATHAM...
  CAMBRIDGE AND WINFIELD CITY LAKE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY LEAD
TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
