...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN...
NORTHEASTERN ELLSWORTH AND NORTHWESTERN SALINE COUNTIES THROUGH 615
PM CDT...

At 531 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Kanopolis, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Salina, Kanopolis, Brookville, Beverly, Glendale, and Westfall.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 135 near Mile Marker 95.
 Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 222 and 252.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for central
Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central Kansas.
