  DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE RAPIDLY DEVELOPING
  8 MILES SOUTH OF LURAY...OR 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF RUSSELL...MOVING
  NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.
