...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN RENO...NORTHWESTERN
SEDGWICK AND SOUTHWESTERN HARVEY COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...

At 446 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
producing a landspout over Haven, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Haven, Burrton, Mount Hope, and Cheney Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.
