...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN ELLSWORTH AND WESTERN
SALINE COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 833 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles south of Tescott to 5 miles south of
Kanopolis. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kanopolis, Brookville, Glendale, Kanopolis Lake, and Kanopolis State
Park.

This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 236 and 248.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central
Kansas.
