THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A

* SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS...
  ELK COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS...

* UNTIL 145 AM CDT

* AT 1254 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS
  TRACKING A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORM WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
  OVER MOLINE...OR 6 MILES SOUTH OF HOWARD...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM ALONG WITH
VERY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING...ESPECIALLY
NEAR LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  HOWARD...MOLINE...LONGTON...GRENOLA AND ELK FALLS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY LEAD
TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. LISTEN FOR
LATER STATEMENTS OR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS...SHOULD THE RISK FOR
