...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN ELK...NORTHWESTERN WILSON...WESTERN WOODSON AND EASTERN
GREENWOOD COUNTIES...

At 913 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles south of Gridley to 8 miles southwest of Fall
River, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Toronto, Hamilton, Severy, Fall River, Climax, Virgil, New
Albany, Coyville, Batesville, Toronto Lake, Fall River State Park,
Fall River Lake, and Cross Timbers State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
